With great satisfaction we announce that Ipanema Investments has become a council member of CEBRI – Brazilian Center for International Relations – http://www.cebri.org/portal/sobre-o-cebri/gestao-e-conselhos – the most important and prestigious Brazilian Think Tank for the development of International Relations, which has as its members the business elite companies operating in Brazil, such as Vale, Itau, BNDES, GE, Exxon Mobil, Brookfield, among others.
Founded 20 years ago by a group of renowned businessmen, diplomats and academics, including Luiz Felipe Lampreia, Celso Lafer, Daniel Klabin, Eliezer Batista, Marcus Vinicius Pratini de Moraes, and Walther Moreira Salles, among others, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) is highly distinguished by its intellectual production, influence in the formation of the country’s international agenda and supports the formulation of public policies, generating actions that are both impactful and forward thinking.
With a Curator Council composed of prominent figures such as Arminio Fraga, Luiz Fernando Furlan, Pedro Malan, among others, and having as President of Honor President Fernando Henrique Cardoso, the institution promotes high-level meetings. Its international importance and relevance have made CEBRI one of the world’s most important think tanks.
CEBRI holds some thematic groups, composed by renowned executives, for relevant subjects, such as Infrastructure, Energy and China. The China group is chaired by Ms. Tatiana Rosito, General Manager of Petrobras in Asia. Arthur Kroeber, partner of Dragonomics and one of the world`s most prestigious specialists in China Economy and Politics is a close and frequent guest of the debates.
